Lone Tree Merry Days

The holidays are in the air here in Lone Tree!  Come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year as we light the City Holiday Tree for the season and join many of our community partners in bringing the holiday spirit to the City of Lone Tree.  

Friday, November 30th, 2018

Tree Lighting at the Lone Tree Arts Center
6:00PM – 7:30PM
Enjoy Christmas carols and other favorites from On the Rocks, a hot cocoa bar and s’more roasting hosted by the Lone Tree Arts Center Guild, fun giveaways (while supplies last), and of course the Big Guy himself and his reindeer. Join Mayor Jacqueline A. Millet and members of the City Council in kicking off the holiday season with remarks and the lighting of the tree starting at 6:30PM. Entry is free. 

Story Time and Crafts at the Douglas County Library, Lone Tree
6:00PM – 7:30PM
Listen to some of your favorite holiday stories and make a fun holiday craft while snacking on candy canes and cider. Stories will be read at 6:15PM, 6:45PM and 7PM. Entry is free. 

Cookie Decorating and Christmas Card Making at MorningStar Senior Living RidgeGate 
6:00PM – 7:30PM
Sing along to Christmas carols while decorating cookies and making Christmas cards for the seniors in the memory care unit. Entry is free. 

Parking: the Lone Tree Arts Center South Parking Lot (the North lot will be closed for the event), Target Parking Garage and the Douglas County Library for all Friday evening events.

2nd Annual Schweiger Ranch Austrian Christmas and Christkindl Market
1:00PM – 6:00PM
Experience an authentic Austrian Christmas at Schweiger Ranch while enjoying the stunning holiday light display, Santa and his reindeer, the Holiday Tree lighting, and authentic Austrian food, beverages and entertainment. Entry and parking is free, food and beverages a la carte.

A Storybook Holiday: The Polar Express presented by Douglas County Libraries

Join Douglas County Libraries as they magically transform the Lone Tree location into The North Pole on this most spectacular evening celebrating the Polar Express! Festivities at this whimsical family event include a visit with Santa, live performances of your favorite Polar Express characters, music and entertainment, and make-and-take gift stations.The delectable dinner menu includes Pork & Apple Pies, Chestnut Crusted Chicken, and - Santa's Favorite - Christmas Dinner Sliders. Create your own hot cocoa concoction at our Naughty or Nice Cocoa Bar, and enjoy a selection of other beverages. Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with DCL!
