Animal Control

The City of Lone Tree Police Department has a mission to balance the health, safety and welfare needs of people and animals within the City. 

Police Services Coordinator Information 
The Police Services Coordinator serves the City of Lone Tree in the area of Code Enforcement and Animal Control. 

Responsibilities 
The coordinator is responsible for general animal control throughout the City. The coordinator provides citizen assistance concerning the following with animals: 

  • Dangerous

  • Vicious

  • Stray

  • Sick

  • Injured

  • Feral

  • Wild animals

If you would like to report a stray animal in your neighborhood please call 303-799-0533.

Lost Animals 
The coordinator attempts to return lost animals to their owners. Stray animals that cannot be immediately returned to their owners are taken to the 
Denver Dumb Friends League Buddy Center located at 4556 Castleton Court, Castle Rock, CO 80109.
