Get involved and have fun!
Volunteers have the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and make a difference in our community. And now, becoming a volunteer is easier! In 2013, the Partnership of Douglas County Governments came together with the goal of making volunteering in Douglas County more streamlined. Together, the partnership entities, including the City of Lone Tree, created Volunteer Connect Douglas County, www.volunteerconnectdc.org.
The Volunteer Connect website is designed as a "one-stop shop" for volunteers to search and sign up for opportunities that match their area of interest, location and schedule.
The City of Lone Tree is looking for volunteers of all ages, who have a few hours to share or an interest in a specific event, department or role. All opportunities will be added to this portal as they become available.Examples of Our Volunteer Opportunities:
- City of Lone Tree Administrative Offices
Assist in the City Office, Human Resources, Finance, Court, Community Development or Building Division; filing, scanning, misc. administrative duties.
- City of Lone Tree - Coyote Education Team
Members assist the City in educating community members on how to co-exist with coyotes and will respond to situations involving coyote interactions with people.
