Summons & Complaints (Tickets/Citations)

A Summons and Complaint is most commonly referred to as a ticket or citation.  It is served by a Lone Tree police officer for criminal and non-criminal violations committed in the City of Lone Tree.  The Summons and Complaint will have information identifying the defendant, date and location of the violation, a court date and time, and a fine if applicable.  If your Summons and Complaint includes a fine amount and you want to choose to pay the fine, you must pay the total fine amount listed.  Paying the fine waives your court appearance in most circumstances.

All communication by the Court is done via mail.  If your mailing address information listed is incorrect, contact the Court office as soon as possible to ensure that you receive any information that may need to be mailed to you.

Court proceedings are held during the first three Thursdays of the month.   You will be summoned to appear at 3:00 P.M., 4:00 P.M., or 5:00 P.M. based on the type of violation.
