The City of Lone Tree provides City approved garage sale signs for residents of Lone Tree to utilize at no cost. According to Municipal Code 16-29-100 (7), garage sale signs must comply with certain specifications.

Household/Sign Limitations
Each household in Lone Tree is allowed a maximum of four (4) garage sale signs per year. Households in Acres Green are allowed two (2) garage sale signs per year.

Signs may only be displayed during daylight hours, they must be removed before dark and they must be maintained in good condition.

Placement
Residents should place garage sales signs in street rights-of-ways or on private property with the permission of the owner. Signs should not be placed on sidewalks, medians or where they would interfere with, obscure or otherwise impede traffic of any kind.

How to Obtain Your Signs
Residents are encouraged to contact the City Administrative office prior to picking up their signs to ensure an adequate supply is available.

The City offices hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
