Order a Recycle Cart
The City of Lone Tree offers wheeled 96-gallon carts at a cost of $34.00 per household in order to make recycling trouble-free. There is a limit of one recycle cart per household with this process.
Ordering Methods:
If you would like to order a recycling cart there are a couple things to keep in mind. These are 96 gallon carts. They are approximately 26″ wide, 35″ deep and 46″ high. There is a charge of $34, which is non-refundable, for this fee the cart needs to stay at the address and there is a $100 fine for taking it with you. These carts are owned and delivered by Waste Connections. You can order online. Payment can be made either with a credit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover) or through an electronic check payment. A 2.3% service fee will be applied to all credit card transactions. There is no fee for payments made with an electronic check (you will need your routing and account numbers). Please note that the $34.00 payment is not a deposit and therefore, nonrefundable.
Delivery:
Carts will be delivered to your home by Waste Connections. They deliver recycle carts on Thursdays. If the City received your payment and your cart has not been delivered within two weeks, please contact the city at 303-662-8112.
Limit:
There is a limit of one cart per household with this process. You are welcome to use an additional container at your own expense.
