The City of Lone Tree invites residents, business owners, developers, and community leaders to participate in an open house to learn about an important City planning initiative known as the Unified Development Code, or UDC.
The UDC builds upon the City’s approved Comprehensive Plan, known as Lone Tree Elevated, and will provide regulations and standards that guide how land is developed throughout Lone Tree. Updating the code will help ensure it reflects the community’s goals, supports thoughtful growth, and provides clear, modern regulations for future development.
Community input is a vital part of this process. The ideas and feedback shared during the open house will help identify opportunities, address challenges, and inform the drafting of the updated code.
Explore Interactive Discussion Stations
The open house will be an engaging, self-guided experience. Participants can visit a series of interactive stations focused on topics that influence everyday life in Lone Tree, including but not limited to:
- Basics of development code
- Housing diversity and attainability
- Parking and Mobility
- Planned Developments and Mixed-Use Development
- Environmental Protection
- Parks and Open Space
- Development Design
At each station, attendees will be able to learn about the topic, ask questions, and provide feedback that will help shape the unified development code.
Learn About Other Community Initiatives
In addition to the UDC stations, the open house will feature displays highlighting other City projects and initiatives, as well as information from City partners. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about what’s happening throughout Lone Tree and connect with the people working on projects that impact the community.
