Your Voice Matters

The City of Lone Tree offers a variety of volunteer opportunities where residents can serve on City commissions, boards or committees (CBC). Every member of a CBC, appointed by the City Council, can engage in thoughtful discussions and make recommendations to the City Council and staff on specific issues or projects, contributing to the future direction of the Lone Tree community.

Lone Tree’s CBCs include the Arts Commission, Audit Committee, Board of Adjustment and Appeals, Living and Aging Well Commission, Planning Commission, Recreation Advisory Committee and the Youth Commission.

Applications

Applications are collected annually and are kept on file for one year to fill any vacancies that may arise during that period. When a vacancy occurs, City Council will review the applications and invite selected individuals for interviews. Applications submitted when there are no openings will be considered when an opening occurs.
