Get Involved in Your City

Lone Tree Welcomes Your Voice, Energy, and Ideas.

Let Us Know How We Are Doing

We would like to hear from you. If you ssee something in the City that needs addressed, have a question, or would like an update on a project, complete your request online. Your request will get logged and sent to the appropriate department for follow up.

Serve on a Commission, Board or Committee (CBC)

Share your voice and expertise by joining one of Lone Tree’s advisory CBCs.  Your input helps guide City decisions, policies, and programs that shape our community.

Volunteer Your Time with the Arts

Join the team at the Lone Tree Arts Center as an usher and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. Just a few hours of your time can make live performances even more memorable for the community.

Attend Meetings and Share Your Ideas

Your voice matters. By participating in City Council meetings, CBC meetings, town halls, and public hearings, you help shape decisions and projects that directly impact our community’s future.

Connect Through Neighborhood Groups

Homeowners Associations, metro districts, and neighborhood associations are great ways to meet your neighbors and get involved locally. Participate in events, projects, or attend your HOA and neighborhood meetings to strengthen your community connections.

Support Arts, Culture, and City Events

Celebrate Lone Tree by showing up! From performances at the Arts Center to City events and community festivals, your attendance helps these events thrive and keeps our community vibrant.

Be a Community Safety Champion

Join the Citizens’ Police Academy, volunteer to serve as a Volunteer in Policing (VIP) with the Lone Tree Police Department or support others by serving in the victim advocate program. Your involvement makes Lone Tree a safer, stronger community.

Engage Your Youth in the City

The Lone Tree Youth Commission or the Police Young Citizens Academy gives young people the chance to learn about city government, serve the community, and make a real impact. It’s a great way for teens to get involved, build leadership skills, and have their voices heard.
