Solicitation

For Residents

Lone Tree residents have the ability to join the City’s no-solicitation list (also known as the no-knock list) to stop solicitors from soliciting at their homes.

To register for the City’s no-solicitation list just complete this form. Once registered, the City will mail you a no-solicitation sticker to display at your front door.

For Solicitors

Registration with the City is required for solicitors, hawkers, and peddlers.  A canvasser is not required to register with the City but may do so in order to assure City residents of the canvasser’s good faith. Each person operating under a solicitation permit is required to carry it on his/her person at all times and produce the permit if requested by an officer, agent, or resident of the City.

To register, complete this form. A City staff member will then contact you to collect any registration fees (if applicable) and to supply you with your permit.

The City of Lone Tree Municipal Code regarding Solicitation (Chapter 6, Article II) can be found in full online here.
