On Saturday, June 27, 2026, a residence in the vicinity of Lodgepole Trail and Pinyon Trail was burglarized. The burglary occurred between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. The residents were at home when the burglary occurred.
Similar burglaries have recently been reported in Douglas County. These incidents typically involve homes that back up to open space, with entry occurring from areas of the property that are accessible from those open spaces.
Lone Tree Police are actively working the case and are seeking assistance from neighborhood residents who may have video surveillance or may have observed anything suspicious.
