Cyclists and pedestrians now have a safe connection to regional transit, employment centers, and retail destinations through a dedicated bikeway in Lone Tree. In May, the C-470 Trail Connector was completed enhancing connectivity and safety for pedestrians and cyclists. The project established a seamless link between the C-470 Regional Trail, the RTD County Line and Park Meadows light rail stations, and the Park Meadows Retail Resort, creating an integrated and sustainable transportation network.  

This transformative project was funded by the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Safer Main Streets program, in addition to contributions from the City of Lone Tree, Douglas County, Denver South, and the Park Meadows Metro District.  

A ribbon cutting celebration is planned for July 17 from 10 to 11 a.m.
