Fireworks
Starting at 9:30 p.m. the skies over Lone Tree will be the canvas for a dazzling, patriotic display that will fill the night with red, white and blue!
Select from several viewing areas to take in the final event of the day with your loved ones, neighbors and friends. Choose the location that works best for you!
Fireworks always pose the risk of being delayed or postponed due to wind or other conditions. Changes will be communicated on the City’s pages.
No personal fireworks are allowed at City Independence Day events. Only permissible fireworks are allowed anywhere within Lone Tree city limits.
After careful consideration of current conditions and public safety, and in consideration of entering Stage 2 fire restrictions, the fireworks show planned as part of the City of Lone Tree’s Independence Day Party in the Park event on July 4 has been canceled. The City will explore opportunities to reschedule the professional fireworks display later this year when conditions safely allow.
Personal fireworks are prohibited at City Independence Day events, or anywhere within the City of Lone Tree under Stage 2 fire restrictions.
Violations may result in a fine of up to $2,650 and/or up to one year in jail. The Lone Tree Police Department will be strictly enforcing all prohibited activities, including the use of personal fireworks. Officers will be issuing tickets, not warnings.
Residents who see personal fireworks being used in Lone Tree should call the Lone Tree Police non-emergency number at 303-799-0533.
