Seth Hoffman
City Manager
Seth Hoffman has served as the City Manager of Lone Tree, Colorado, since 2013, providing leadership for a thriving community known for its vibrant neighborhoods, dynamic public spaces, and exceptional quality of life. Hoffman works closely with City Council and all City departments to advance strategic priorities that make Lone Tree a national model for innovation, collaboration, and careful growth.
Since joining the City in 2005, Hoffman has held a variety of key positions, including Deputy City Manager and Economic Development Director. He has played an integral role in attracting and expanding major employers such as Kiewit, Kaiser Permanente, Charles Schwab, and HealthOne. Lone Tree is also home to Park Meadows Shopping Center, the largest mall in the Mountain West, a premier destination that enhances the City’s economic vitality.
Hoffman’s leadership has helped deliver several transformative projects, including the award-winning Lone Tree Arts Center, completed in 2011, and the Southeast Light Rail Extension, completed in 2019, which strengthens regional connectivity.
A deep, active commitment to safety underpins all of Lone Tree’s initiatives. Hoffman leads a citywide effort to ensure that public safety is woven into the work of every department, from public works and community development to economic growth and the exceptional service provided by the Lone Tree Police Department. This holistic approach reinforces the City’s reputation as a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and visit.
Under Hoffman’s leadership, Lone Tree has maintained a top-level bond rating, reflecting the City’s strong fiscal health and responsible financial management. He also emphasizes strategic collaboration, guiding Lone Tree’s pursuit of its “Six Big Ideas,” which include fostering innovation, enhancing transportation, and creating signature cultural and recreational opportunities.
Kristin Baumgartner
Deputy City Manager
Kristin Baumgartner serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Lone Tree, bringing more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and public sector leadership. In her role, Kristin works closely with the City Manager and City departments to ensure high-quality services, efficient operations, and strong financial stewardship that support Lone Tree’s vision and values.
Kristin has been a dedicated member of the Lone Tree team since 2013, starting as Revenue and Accounting Manager and advancing through key leadership roles including Finance Director and Assistant City Manager. She was appointed Deputy City Manager in 2019 and continues to play a vital role in strategic planning, organizational development, and day-to-day City operations overseeing Community Development, Public Works, Municipal Court, Finance and Human Resources.
Before joining the City of Lone Tree, Kristin worked in public accounting as a Senior Manager at CliftonLarsonAllen, specializing in consulting for local governments. Kristin holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from Regis University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Austin Good
Assistant City Manager
Austin Good serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Lone Tree, providing strategic direction for information technology, communications, the City Clerk’s Office, and special projects. He also coordinates several key city partnerships, including parks and recreation. His work focuses on process improvement and organizational innovation, with a strong emphasis on connecting residents and community groups to their local government.
Austin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas. His previous experience includes work with the League of Kansas Municipalities and in sustainability consulting.
