Audit Committee
The City of Lone Tree established its Audit Committee in the spring of 2003 to help ensure strong financial stewardship and transparency. The committee provides independent review and oversight of the City’s financial reporting and audit processes, working to maintain accountability and public trust.
The committee includes a City Councilmember, the City Manager, the City’s Chief Financial Officer, and three Lone Tree residents who bring expertise in accounting, auditing, or financial management. Their combined experience helps guide responsible financial practices and address any issues identified during the City’s annual audit.
The Audit Committee meets quarterly at 9:00 a.m. on the first Wednesday of March, June, September, and December. Meetings are held at the Lone Tree Municipal Building.
The Wednesday, September 02, 2026, meeting at 9:00 a.m. has been cancelled.
