Planning Commission

The Planning Commission plays a vital role in shaping the future of Lone Tree. Made up of up to seven community members appointed by City Council, the Commission brings together a variety of perspectives and expertise to help guide the City’s thoughtful growth and development.

As a recommending body, the Planning Commission reviews land use applications, zoning requests, and proposed updates to planning documents and regulations. Their recommendations help ensure that Lone Tree’s development aligns with the community’s vision, supporting vibrant neighborhoods, sustainable design, and a high quality of life.

The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, as needed, at the Lone Tree Civic Center.
