Camp DCL
During school breaks, kids ages 5-12 can discover new activities, express their creativity, and build confidence all while having fun at Camp DCL. These weeklong camps let kids explore hands-on activities like cooking and baking, coding, science experiments, engineering, art, LEGO adventures, and more. Meeting and Event Spaces

Summer Reading
Douglas County Libraries encourages kids of all ages to have fun with reading during school breaks. The library’s annual Summer Reading celebration includes community activities and events, trackable reading goals, friendly challenges, sign-up prizes, and rewards that make reading less work and more fun. Entertaining Events
The library hosts exceptional events throughout the year. A Storybook Holiday each spring, fall and winter is a delightful celebration of literature for families, with characters from beloved stories, themed crafts, catered food and drinks, and lively performances. Interactive Children’s Spaces
Little Savers Bank and Market at the Lone Tree library is a free, interactive play space where kids can “bank” on having fun while learning practical skills. Sponsored by Bellco Credit Union, the immersive space includes an interactive safe, safety deposit boxes with hidden treasures, and a teller window to receive deposits. Little ones can also exchange play money at the cash drawer, play vault Plinko, learn about balancing using tabletop scales, and even shop from produce bins at the adjacent market.
