Construction of the Sky Ridge at Lone Tree Station Mobility Hub will begin construction in June at the I-25 and Lincoln Avenue interchange. A project funded by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), Douglas County, Lone Tree, and the Southeast Public Improvement Metro District, the new mobility hub is part of a statewide effort to provide high-quality transportation infrastructure that emphasizes multimodal options, offering seamless mode-to-mode transitions, real-time passenger information, and opportunities to create transit-friendly development in surrounding areas.
Work by CDOT and its contractor will consist of constructing slip ramps along the I-25 northbound off-ramp and southbound on-ramp just south of Lincoln Avenue for use by Bustang transit services. Additionally, a pedestrian bridge over I-25 will be constructed that connects the two transit stops for pedestrian and bicycle access. Pedestrian ramps and stairs will be provided on the west side of the mobility hub between I-25 and Trainstation Circle. Other infrastructure upgrades will include the installation of bus shelters, new sidewalks, and a passenger pick-up and drop-off area. The new mobility hub will provide Bustang users access to the light rail, Lone Tree’s Link on Demand transit service and connect to the future Lone Tree City Center.

Week of June 16 Travel Impacts
General working hours will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. There will be additional nighttime construction from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday night. Lane closures may vary slightly within these windows of time.
- Monday, June 16:
- Daytime shoulder closures on the northbound I-25 off-ramp and southbound I-25 on-ramp at Lincoln Avenue.
- Mobile shoulder closures will be in place on north and southbound I-25 from East County Line Road to just south of Ridgegate Parkway.
- Tuesday, June 17:
- Daytime shoulder closures on the northbound I-25 off-ramp and southbound I-25 on-ramp at Lincoln Avenue.
- Wednesday, June 18:
- Daytime shoulder and single-lane closure on the northbound I-25 off-ramp and shoulder closure on the southbound I-25 on-ramp at Lincoln Avenue. Through-travel on the ramps will remain open during daytime hours.
- Nighttime single right-lane closure on northbound I-25 surrounding Lincoln Avenue.
- Nighttime northbound I-25 to Lincoln Avenue off-ramp closure. Cars will be detoured to East County Line Road (Exit 195) to southbound I-25 back toward Lincoln Avenue. See detour map below for more information.
