The Lone Tree Police Department is asking for residents to stay vigilant and call police to report any suspicious activity.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., police responded to the 10100 block of Prestwick Trail for a residential burglary.  Homeowners were just returning to their house after being out for a couple of hours and noticed a gray SUV leaving the driveway of the residence.  Upon entering their home, the residents discovered suspects had broken into the house and ransacked it, stealing cash and jewelry.  Detectives are working on this case and joining efforts with several other law enforcement agencies.  This burglary seems to fit within a recent pattern of crimes targeting the Asian community and police are asking for the public’s assistance.  Anyone with information on this or any other burglary is asked to call the Lone Tree Police Department Tip Line at 720-509-1160 or Detective Lori Mohr at lori.mohr@cityoflonetree.com or call 720-509-1225.

Lone Tree Police encourage residents to ensure their alarm and camera systems are working properly.  However, the best way to keep our community safe is for residents to call 9-1-1 immediately if they see anything or any person(s) that look suspicious so officers can respond to the area.
