Home > News > Legacy Campus Expands Career Opportunities for Local Students

Legacy Campus in Lone Tree is expanding its career and technical education programs, giving students more opportunities to learn practical skills and explore future careers.

The City of Lone Tree recently joined Douglas County School District, teachers, students and community members to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Phase II of the campus expansion.

The expansion includes new labs and learning spaces for advanced manufacturing and aerospace, electric vehicle and hybrid automotive technology, electrical technology, construction trades and other career programs.

Students will be able to work with industry-related equipment, build hands-on experience and pursue certifications that can help prepare them for college, technical training or a career after high school.

Legacy Campus is an important resource for Lone Tree families and students across Douglas County. Its location in Lone Tree makes it easier for local students to explore career options and gain real-world skills close to home.

The City congratulates Douglas County School District, Legacy Campus, and everyone who helped bring the expansion to life. As the campus continues to grow, it will give more students a head start on the careers of tomorrow.
