Each year, the City of Lone Tree reviews its Roadway Condition Analysis—performed on a three-year cycle—to identify streets in need of repair and maintenance. This data-driven approach allows the City to prioritize investments that restore pavements to optimal service-level conditions and support the long-term performance of the roadway network.
Based on this analysis, the City’s Public Works Department advances two coordinated construction programs:
- Concrete replacement and ADA improvements
- Asphalt milling and overlay
Bids for the 2026 Concrete Replacement Program and the 2026 Asphalt Mill & Overlay Program were opened on January 20, 2026. City Council consideration and approval of the 2026 paving and concrete contracts is anticipated in February 2026.
Construction schedules for individual neighborhoods and roadway segments will be posted once contracts are awarded and sequencing is finalized. Residents in impacted areas will receive advance notification prior to the start of work. To stay up-to-date about the project, sign up for communications from the City.
As part of the City’s coordinated approach, repairs to damaged concrete infrastructure—including concrete curbs, pedestrian curb ramps, cross pans, medians, and sidewalks—will be completed first by the concrete contractor. Later in the season, the asphalt contractor will return to perform milling and overlay operations of the asphalt pavement on these same streets.
