Project Begins

Spring 2026

The City of Lone Tree will soon begin construction on the County Line Road and Willow Street Signal Replacement project. This intersection represents the final remaining span-wire traffic signal within the city. Upon completion, Lone Tree will have fully transitioned to modern mast-arm signal infrastructure at all signalized intersections.

About the Project

Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2026.

The project will:

  • Replace the existing span-wire traffic signal with updated mast-arm signals
  • Install upgraded signal equipment and foundations
  • Construct ADA-compliant pedestrian curb ramps
  • Improve accessibility and enhance long-term reliability and safety

Mast-arm signal systems provide increased durability, improved visibility, and enhanced operational efficiency compared to span-wire configurations. The upgrades will also improve pedestrian accessibility and bring the intersection into full compliance with current ADA standards.

What to Expect

Residents and motorists can expect temporary traffic impacts during construction. The City will work to maintain access and minimize disruptions while completing the improvements as efficiently as possible.
