The City of Lone Tree, and Rampart Range Metro District to make much-needed improvements in advance of development taking place in Lone Tree on the east side of I-25.
Main components of this work include:
- Stabilizing the channels and banks in order to handle increased flows from new urban density
- Supporting changes in the area stemming from the development of an 80-acre regional park.
- Adding segments to the Happy Canyon Regional Trail
- Project is split into five phases. Phase I was completed in 2024. Phases II and III will be complete by spring of 2026.
Work on this project is underway and expected to be completed in late 2026.
