This is a proposal for the development of a new Lone Tree Public Works facility on 10 acres at the existing Public Works site at 10151 First Street. The site is part of the RidgeGate Planned Development District. The proposed 29,480 square foot building will include vehicle storage bays, workshops, and office space. Site improvements include paving, fencing, landscaping and a sand storage structure. Parking is screened behind a brick wall and evergreen trees.
The City of Lone Tree continues to embark on two significant capital projects of its own with the construction of a new Justice Center and Public Works Operations facility. The new facilities will provide ample space to support current and future staff, accommodate growth, and enable the city to deliver high quality services.
Both facilities will be located on the land donated to the City by Coventry Development as part of the RidgeGate development. This land, situated on the east side of I-25, will host the new Justice Center, Public Works Operations facility, and be home to the future High Note Regional Park.
The project aims to create an efficient space that will house the equipment, administrative offices, and maintenance bays for public infrastructure management that will be able to accommodate the increased demands as the City grows. The improvements are designed with long-term sustainability in mind, incorporating modern, eco-friendly solutions that reduce environmental impacts. The facility will enable faster response times, better maintenance of public spaces, and improved operational efficiency. This directly benefits residents by ensuring that City roads, parks, trails, drainage, and other utilities are consistently well-maintained.
