Lone Tree Unified Development Code
Help Shape the Future of Lone Tree
The City of Lone Tree has recently launched a project to create a new Unified Development Code (UDC). Building on the vision established in the recently adopted Lone Tree Elevated Comprehensive Plan, the UDC will combine such items as land use standards, subdivision regulations, design standards, and development regulations into a single, user-friendly document.
The UDC will play a significant role in helping to implement the Comprehensive Plan’s goals and vision for thoughtful growth, housing choice, mobility, economic vitality, sustainability, and high-quality development.
The City of Lone Tree and Design Workshop hosted a community open house on August 26th, 2026 as part of the Lone Tree Unified Development Code (UDC) Update. The open house provided an opportunity for community members to learn about the UDC update, understand how development and land use regulations influence the built and natural environment, and provide input on key policy and design topics that will inform development of the new code.
