This proposal is for a new Murphy USA Gas Station and Convenience store located at the site formerly occupied by a Chik-fil-A restaurant, 9091 Westview Road. The proposed development includes a 2,824-square-foot convenience store building at the south end of the site as well as 12 gas pumps under a canopy located toward the north end of the site. The variance request is for a parking reduction from the City’s municipal Code’s off-street parking requirements. Code would require 37 parking spaces and the applicant is requesting a reduction to 26 spaces which include the spaces beneath the gas canopy.
The proposed development site is located within the Park Meadows Town Center Planned Development (PD), Planning Area C.
