Transportation

Living in the City of Lone Tree makes it easy to get around. Located at the junction of C/E-470 and I-25, Lone Tree is just minutes from Centennial Airport and the Denver Tech Center. Denver International Airport (DIA) is a short drive away, as is Metro Denver and the surrounding major Colorado business centers – and of course, the Rocky Mountains! Lone Tree is home to five Regional Transportation District (RTD) light rail stations. Transit is serving our employers and driving the development of new Class A office buildings, world-class retail opportunities, the Lone Tree City Center, and new housing development that will serve our community. The five light rail stations that serve Lone Tree are:

  • Park Meadows’ County Line Station
  • Lincoln Station
  • Sky Ridge Station
  • Lone Tree City Center Station
  • RidgeGate Parkway Station

Denver entertainment is all accessible by light rail, with Ball Arena (Denver Nuggets Basketball and Colorado Avalanche Hockey), Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos Football), Coors Field(Colorado Rockies), and the LoDo entertainment district only 35 minutes away and accessible by major transit lines. Within City limits, Link on Demand offers a free shuttle service between key employment centers and restaurants, retail, and the RTD light rail stations. With so many transportation options, residents and visitors are able to travel around the City, to downtown Denver and to points beyond with ease.
