In her own words:
“I have had the privilege of serving you on the Lone Tree City Council for the past 8 years, including in my current role as Mayor Pro Tem.  Throughout my professional career, I managed a small business and held significant positions in the financial services sector with Charles Schwab and TIAA.  As a trustee for the Aurora Police Department’s retirement plan, I combine my financial expertise with a deep respect for law enforcement.

In addition to my council duties, I actively represent Lone Tree by serving as the Board Chair of DRCOG (Denver Regional Council of Governments), Chair of the Regional Transportation Committee, Chair of the Douglas County Transportation Forum, and past Chair of the Douglas County Housing Partnership.  My depth of knowledge on local and regional matters, together with my ability to understand complex issues and to listen to all opinions to find consensus, has earned me the respect of fellow elected leaders throughout the greater Denver metro area.

As your next mayor, we will focus on public safety, reduction of crime, maintaining our excellent services, and revitalizing those gathering places in our city that are designed for people of all ages and abilities. My financial and service background, knowledge, experience, available time, and my genuine love for Lone Tree and our residents all uniquely prepare me to lead as our city’s next mayor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community.  For more details, please visit my campaign website or connect with me on Facebook, LinkedIn, or over a cup of coffee—and please vote for Wynne Shaw for Mayor of the City of Lone Tree in our Tuesday, May 7th election!”
