City Council approved Ordinance 07-11 which authorizes retailers to use an electronic database certified by the Colorado Department of Revenue to determine the jurisdictions to which tax is owed.

Retailers who use these systems are not liable for certain uncollected sales or use taxes if the retailer relies on these systems and if these systems incorrectly identifies or fails to identify the name of the state, county, city and/or special districts in which the address is located.
