WinterCheer

WitnerCheerWith the holidays just around the corner, the City of Lone Tree is bringing back WinterCheer, a regional campaign to support local retailers and restaurants by giving away weekly prizes to customers who spend their money in Lone Tree.

“Supporting our business community is a top priority for Lone Tree,” said Mayor Jackie Millet. “WinterCheer brings attention to our awesome city businesses, while also rewarding shoppers with prizes. It’s a win-win this holiday season!”

This year, the City will be giving away $100 gift cards every week, starting on the week of Nov. 15 and through the end of the year. To be entered to win, participants simply need to submit online a copy of a receipt of a recent purchase made in Lone Tree. No minimum purchase is required. However, the purchase must have been made within the last month, and at a business within Lone Tree city limits.

“In Lone Tree, you can always find the perfect gift for family and friends,” said Millet. “And now, you also have a chance to win a gift card to buy more gifts or treat yourself!”

While the first drawing will not be until mid-November, participants can already start submitting their receipts. There is no limit to how many entries can be submitted.

To make it easier for patrons, postcards with QR codes will be provided to businesses throughout the City so customers can very easily snap a photo of their receipt, scan the QR code and be entered to win – all while they’re out shopping or dining in Lone Tree.

Last year, the City launched WinterCheer for the first time to support local businesses as they tried to recover from COVID-related shutdowns and restrictions.

Winners will be announced online at cityoflonetree.com/wintercheer and on the City’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
