Arts Center

The Lone Tree Arts Center is a special place because of special people

If you’ve attended an event at the Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) sometime in the past few years, chances are you’ve encountered the warm and welcoming smile of Roberta Seifert, affectionately known as “Ro” to those closest to her. Ro has been an integral part of LTAC, serving as a cornerstone of our concessions team for nearly eight years. A Colorado native and a resident of Highlands Ranch for three decades, Ro joined the team in search of a fun, part-time opportunity to fill her free time after her daughters left for college.

“It was important to me that I be close to home, have flexible hours and shorter shift times that allowed me to still enjoy my weekly tennis league commitments,” says Seifert. “One of my favorite things about being a part of the LTAC team is the great friendships I’ve made over the years. It also doesn’t hurt that I get to work in an amazing venue with access to some of the greatest shows in the South Metro area!”

To Ro, the Lone Tree Arts Center isn’t just a place for live shows; it’s a community of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the arts and culture scene. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or looking for a fulfilling part-time job, LTAC has opportunities that can bring you closer to the heart of the arts.

The impact of LTAC staff on the LTAC experience

The LTAC Box Office, for instance, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment. Their mission isn’t solely to sell tickets, but to create memorable experiences for all guests. A job as a box office representative will find you assisting patrons by phone and in-person with orders, helping guests make informed purchasing decisions, and providing essential information about the theater.

Jamie Frerichs, the LTAC Box Office Lead, reflects on her experiences. “I enjoy working at the Lone Tree Arts Center because I love being involved in the performing arts within my community,” Frerichs says. “My coworkers make it fun, and most of the time, it doesn’t even feel like work! Plus, I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to put my family first.”

House Managers also serve another crucial role for LTAC. These team members are the linchpins of the patron experience during performances, working hand-in-hand with the box office, technical staff, administrative team, and a crew of dedicated volunteer ushers to ensure that everything front of house runs seamlessly.

“This season marks my sixth year working as a House Manager at the Lone Tree Arts Center,” Lone Tree resident Helene Lawful shares. “It has been a pleasure to get to know so many of our patrons and work with so many fantastic volunteer ushers.

“What I love most about my job is the satisfaction I feel when I say goodbye to patrons after a performance and thank them for joining us,” continues Lawful. “They tell me how wonderful their theater experience was and thank me in return.”

It takes incredible people like Ro, Jamie, and Helene to make an experience at the Lone Tree Arts Center special. Whether you’re a friendly face at the concessions, a helpful voice at the Box Office, or a House Manager ensuring a smooth night of entertainment, you become a part of something greater—a community dedicated to enriching the cultural tapestry of the South Metro area.
