Each year, the City of Lone Tree consults their Roadway Condition Analysis, performed on a three-year cycle, to identify roads in need of repair/maintenance to restore them to acceptable service-level pavement conditions.
The City Public Works Department then goes to bid for concrete replacement and asphalt overlay for these identified roads. On Tuesday, February 20, Lone Tree City Council approved the 2024 Concrete & Asphalt and Overlay program.

Stone Matrix Asphalt on Lincoln Avenue
As part of the 2024 Asphalt Overlay program, City of Lone Tree Public Works will be piloting the use of stone matrix asphalt on the work being performed on Lincoln Avenue. This type of asphalt is ideal for high-volume roadways, in some cases offering twice the life expectancy of traditional asphalt.
