Lone Tree Residents,

In the aftermath of yesterday’s storm, we understand that many of you may be dealing with fallen tree debris and other related waste. The City has coordinated with our regional partners to arrange several disposal options for your convenience.

  • Mulch Sites: You are welcome to bring your fallen tree debris to one of three designated mulch sites located at Highland Heritage Park (9651 S. Quebec), Redstone Park (3280 Redstone Park Circle), and the Grigs Road site at Grigs Road and McArthur Ranch Road. These sites are specifically set up to accept tree debris and facilitate the mulching process.
  • Waste Connections Collection: If you prefer not to transport the debris yourself, Waste Connections will collect up to 5 bundles of branches or limbs as part of their regular waste collection service. Branches and brush must be cut into 4′ lengths and tied securely in 24″ diameter bundles. Please ensure the bundles are securely tied and within manageable size limits.
  • Non-Mulch Waste: For any non-mulch waste related to the storm, there will be a dumpster available to residents in the parking lot of the Lone Tree Arts Center on Monday, June 26. You can bring your non-mulch storm debris to this location for proper disposal.

Please note that these disposal options are specifically intended for storm-related tree debris and waste. Regular household waste and other materials should be disposed of through your usual waste management procedures.

We understand that the recent storm has caused inconvenience and damage, and we appreciate your patience as we work together to restore our beautiful community.

Thank you,
City of Lone Tree
