Lone Tree City Council approved the 2024 Concrete Replacement and Asphalt Overlay program and contracts at the February 20 regular meeting. Work is projected to beginning April and is expected to be completed in August. The Public Works department performs this work annually and uses contracted partners to keep Lone Tree’s streets up to accepted standards and prevent deferred maintenance of roadways that need to be updated.

Roads selected for repair and overlay in 2024 include Indian Wells Drive, La Quinta Drive, Ptarmigan Trail, Parkway Drive, Lincoln Avenue, 1st Street, and Trainstation Circle.

This year, the Public Works team will be using Stone Matrix Asphalt on Lincoln Avenue, a product used by many local partners for high-volume roads. This is expected to double the usage life of the road compared to typical asphalt.

You can visit the project page here to view a map of the roads selected for the 2024 program, as well as find updates on the overlay schedule.  The City will notify residents of work in their area before construction begins. Keep an eye on City media platforms and sign up for TextMyGov for real time alerts about work on roadways.
