As of Thursday, December 30, 2021, due to dry conditions and the possible need for South Metro Fire Rescue Authority to provide aid to active fires in Boulder County, the City of Lone Tree is joining Douglas County in enacting Stage 1 fire restrictions. This means open burning is currently prohibited.
