In an effort to strengthen relationships with the University of Colorado System, Lone Tree Mayor Jackie Millet welcomed a team from CU, including President Mark Kennedy for an extensive tour of the City.
“It was an honor to welcome CU’s President and his team to our beautiful city,” said Mayor Millet. “From our business community and future development to the light rail extension, we had a lot to show our guests.”
The tour included stops at Kiewit’s regional headquarters construction site, Lockheed Martin’s newly leased building off Park Meadows, Charles Schwab and RidgeGate, among others.
“Michelle Marks, University of Colorado Denver chancellor, Tony Salazar University of Colorado system AVP for engagement, and I met with great people and great companies on our South Metro Denver tour last month,” said Kennedy. “At CU, we’re working hard to drive opportunity for our students and the state.”
The group had the opportunity to network with business leaders in Lone Tree and learn more about the future development on the east side of I-25 in Lone Tree. The day of touring ended at Centennial Airport, after Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko provided a tour of her city too.
