Happy Memorial Day, Lone Tree

As we gather with family and friends to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our great nation, let us also embrace the opportunity to begin our summer season with unity, joy, and celebration.

Memorial Day holds a special place in our hearts as a day of remembrance, gratitude, and reflection. It is a time when we pay homage to those valiant individuals who answered the call of duty, leaving behind the comforts of home and family, and placing themselves in harm’s way to protect the freedoms and values we hold dear. Their selflessness and unwavering commitment to defending our nation’s ideals deserve our utmost respect and honor. I encourage each of you to take a moment this Memorial Day to pause, remember, and honor the heroes who have shaped our country’s history.

Congratulations, Lone Tree Seniors!

Congratulations to Graduating Lone Tree Youth Commission Members Myles Rubin, Parker Genuario, Trevor Johns, and Riley Cullinan!

This time of year also marks an important milestone for many of our young residents. I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the graduating high school seniors throughout the City of Lone Tree. Each one of you has worked tirelessly, overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities, to reach this next step of your journey. It is a testament to your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. You have made your families, friends, and our community incredibly proud.

As you prepare to embark on the next chapter of your lives, whether it be continuing your education, pursuing a career, or serving our nation, know that you carry with you the support of our entire community. May your future be filled with success, fulfillment, and happiness, and may you continue to make Lone Tree shine brightly.

This year, our headline artist is Lone Tree Arts Center’s own Mary Louise Lee and her band, who will be performing hits from legendary artists like Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and the late great Tina Turner.

The fun starts at 6:00 p.m.!Once again, thank you for making Lone Tree a great community to live, work, and play. I am, honored to serve as your Mayor and am looking forward to spending some time together this Summer!
