The City of Lone Tree is committed to creating and maintaining a healthy, safe, and livable community for future generations. In Lone Tree’s efforts towards this sustainable future, an Energy Action Plan was developed to guide City staff, developers, residents, and businesses in reaching their energy goals. With support from Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy, an Energy Action Team is working together to implement the plan, which could lead to more than $700,000 in community energy cost savings. To reach Lone Tree’s energy goals, the plan includes four focus areas and nine strategies that will be powered by ONE Lone Tree.

Begin your journey toward lower energy bills by signing up for Xcel Energy’s Home Energy Squad. A visit from the squad costs $50 and includes a home energy assessment and optional installation of energy saving measures like LED lights and a smart thermostat.
