City Offices will have a Delayed Opening on Thursday, November 7
City Offices will be open at 9:30 a.m.
The Happy Canyon Creek Stream Improvement Project is a combined effort by the Mile High Flood District, The City of Lone Tree, and Rampart Range Metro District to make much-needed improvements in advance of development taking place in Lone Tree on the east side of I-25.
Main components of this work include:
- Stabilizing the channels and banks in order to handle increased flows from new urban density
- Supporting changes in the area stemming from the development of an 80-acre regional park.
- Adding segments to the Happy Canyon Regional Trail
Work on this project is underway and expected to be completed in late 2024.
