RidgeGate Southwest Village Filing No. 2 – Amendment No. 1

This is a proposal for a right-of-way (ROW) vacation and plat amendment associated with the RidgeGate Southwest Village Filing No. 2 subdivision.  The proposal involves the vacation of a small section of ROW previously platted for a future extension of Copperton Road east of Lyric Street.  Due to changes in the layout of a future subdivision phase, the extension of Copperton Road as previously platted is no longer necessary.  The vacation of ROW impacts the Southwest Village Filing No. 2 subdivision plat boundary, and is therefore being processed through a plat amendment, per Sec. 17-7-100(b)(3)(c) of the Lone Tree Municipal Code.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Due to the 4th of July holiday affecting the schedule for public notices in the newspaper, the required notice for the public hearing on Ordinance 24-07 (Southwest Village Filing No. 2 Amendment) could not be published. This was because the newspaper’s deadline was before the City Council approved the first reading of the ordinance on July 2. The public hearing for this ordinance has been rescheduled to the City Council’s meeting on August 6 at 7pm, to be held at the Lone Tree Civic Center. Please note that no public comment for this ordinance will be accepted by Council on July 16th. Public Comment will be taken at the August 6th meeting.
