Given the recent resurgence of COVID-19 in the region, the City is reinstating selected policies to ensure employees and customers are able to conduct business in a safe environment.
Visitor Symptom Checks
Visitors who are meeting with City employees in person for 15 minutes or more will be asked to review the list of COVID symptoms below. If the visitor has symptoms, they will not be permitted to remain inside the City facility and will have to conduct business virtually. No physical temperature check of the visitor is required. COVID Symptoms
People with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Temperature Ranges
- 99°F to 100.3°F: The individual may enter the facility but must monitor their temperature throughout their stay (once per hour if possible).
- 100.4°F or higher: The individual will be asked to leave the facility immediately.
Face Coverings for Unvaccinated Visitors
Any visitor who moves beyond the lobby area of the Municipal Building will be asked if they are vaccinated. If individual is not vaccinated, he/she will be required to wear a face covering. Proof of vaccination will not be required. If the visitor refuses to answer, then they will be required to wear a face covering. If a visitor chooses not to wear a face covering when they meet the criteria to do so, then they will be required to conduct their business virtually.
