That trail bridge that went up over Acres Green Drive a few weeks ago? Well, now it needs a deck. On Tuesday, September 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will close parts of Acres Green Drive from Park Meadows Drive to East County Line Road. This will allow crews to pour the concrete deck for the new trail bridge crews installed on Monday, August 14. The southbound lanes will be fully closed in the morning, reopening midday. After the southbound lanes are completed, crews will fully close the northbound lanes to finish pouring the bridge, reopening both lanes by 3 p.m. There will be detours and signage to lead motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians through the detours. These short-duration closures will help ensure the safety of the traveling public and the on-site crew pouring the concrete.
