Lone Tree Elevated is a comprehensive planning initiative that will guide the future growth and development of the City of Lone Tree. This community-led initiative is dedicated to shaping the future of Lone Tree through 2045 by creating a dynamic new Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Code.

Current Documents

This effort will update key plans and regulations that will shape growth and development in the City of Lone Tree. Be sure to visit and bookmark lonetreeelevated.com for updates and draft documents as this project progresses.

For reference, key relevant existing documents include:

  • City of Lone Tree Comprehensive Plan – This document is the City’s current Comprehensive plan and was formally adopted by Lone Tree City Council on January 15, 2019.
  • City of Lone Tree Municipal Code, Chapter 16: Zoning – The City of Lone Tree’s Municipal Code is the set of laws, regulations, and rules that govern the City of Lone Tree, a home rule City. This chapter on Zoning and Land Use detail the regulations that determine how land can be used, the types of buildings that can be constructed, and the property development standards enforced on developers.
  • Westbrook Entertainment & Sports District Vision Book – This document is a comprehensive vision plan created for the Westbrook Entertainment & Sports District. Its purpose in planning is to provide a clear roadmap for the development and transformation of the district. It defines the district’s identity, outlines physical design elements, and offers an implementation strategy, all with the aim of guiding stakeholders, attracting investment, and fostering a vibrant, cohesive community within the district.
  • Lone Tree Walk & Wheel Report – This document sets forth a vision, goals, and policies for walking and bicycling in Lone Tree. The report was published in January, 2015.
  • 2040 Lone Tree Transportation Master Plan – The purpose of this document is to provide a guiding framework for the continued development and enhancement of the transportation network in Lone Tree. This plan considers a wide range of transportation network improvements necessary to continue the development of a complete transportation system that integrates all travel modes. The plan was submitted in September, 2019.
